Accessibility statement

ClimateDoor is committed to making climatedoor.ai and the ClimateDoor platform usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology. We are actively working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standard.

Conformance status

Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This platform is partially conformantwith WCAG 2.2 AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard; the areas still in progress are listed below. We treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a one-time project, and we retest as we ship.

What is accessible today

The following have been addressed across the product and marketing surfaces:

  • Keyboard navigation for interactive controls, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Semantic landmarks, headings, and ARIA labelling so screen readers can navigate structure.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
  • Color contrast tuned to meet the AA contrast ratio, driven from a single design-token source.
  • Respect for the operating-system “reduce motion” preference; animation is suppressed when it is set.
  • Clear, programmatically-associated error messages on forms.
  • Automated accessibility checks (keyboard, focus, and ARIA) that run in our test suite.

Known limitations we are still working on

We are aware of the following gaps and are remediating them:

  • A dedicated high-contrast theme as a per-user setting is in development. Default contrast already targets AA, but a user-selectable high-contrast mode is not yet available.
  • Text scaling to 200% holds on most screens, but a small number of dense layouts can still clip or introduce horizontal scrolling at the largest zoom levels. These are being fixed surface by surface.

Technical information

ClimateDoor is committed to making its digital surfaces accessible in line with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The known limitations listed above are why the platform does not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We review this statement and reassess conformance as accessibility work lands.
